About
I guess it all started for me in the 6th grade. My friends and I would ride around town on our bikes shooting varies short films and stunt videos. Despite not knowing anything about my parents HI-8 video camera, I almost always found myself trying to figure out the next “greatest” shot. Although our videos were of us jumping off buildings, or launching off of “sick jumps,” I found myself captivated by the idea of telling a story.
Throughout high school I was involved in my schools television production class, where I spent most of my time putting together packages and reporting on stuff that I didn’t really care about. I frequently would get told that my packages contained shots that were better fit for an experimental short film rather than the news.
I came to college planning on becoming a news anchor. However, my fascination with telling stories continued to grow and I quickly found myself not wanting to be in front of a camera. I wanted to tell stories.
And that leaves us to where I am now. I just graduated from Pepperdine University last spring and I’m begginning production on my first feature length documentary this summer.
I believe in the power of telling stories and its ability to point to something greater than ourselves. So welcome to my site, I hope you like it. If you have any questions or would like to talk about a potential project feel free to contact me.
